Composer and pianist Eugene Uman will perform in a trio setting indoors at the Thrush Hill Stage Studio with double bassist Steve Cady and drummer Jon Fisher.


The Eugene Uman Trio balances an artistic tightrope blending a variety of music that is innovative and exploratory as well as accessible and groove oriented. Leader Eugene Uman uses this group to present his own original compositions, many of which were inspired by his years living in Colombia, South America. 


Also featured are the compositions of bassist, Steve Cady, the director of the Keene Jazz Orchestra. The groove is propelled by the swinging

Jon Fisher is a freelance drummer based in Western Massachusetts who has been performing with various artists throughout New England for almost 20 years. Since 2012 he has held the drum chair performing with the Green Street Trio of the Northampton Jazz Workshop. As a result he gets to play numerous times a month with jazz luminaries, including Charles Neville, Houston Person, Vincent Herring, Grant Stewart, Wayne Escoffery, Chris Cheek, Jay Hoggard, Steve Davis, Sheila Jordan, Karrin Allyson, Nat Reeves, John Lockwood, Gary Smulyan, Ralph Lalama, and many others.
